My Inspiration for December

31 Dec

December’s magical last days were, for me, a time of ballerinas, psychedelia, fairy tales, Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett and reveries about Swinging London. One film that I have to recommend to you is Crimson Peaks (2015); the atmosphere, aesthetics and costumes are brilliant!

Its the castle with very light blue, and the dancers beneath,,, then an endless theme of pale blue,
blue eyes, extreme prettiness ,, Marianne Faithful,, ballerinas,, all with a dark foreboding question mark..
. Syd and Pete, old and new, both dark haired and mildly sinister, with a backdrop of great innocence,
, the eternal fight between the dark and light demons… but eventually the pale blue is just so beautiful.. its enchanting.. lovely and so delicate x
